2018 Acadia National Park

We arrived Sunday afternoon in time for happy hour.

On Monday, we spent the day in Bar Harbor, a tourist town full of people enjoying the beautiful weather and scenery.

Breakfast at Paddy's

This is the Schooner we will ride later at sunset.

Over to Atlantic Brewing for refreshments

We took a trolly tour that brought us to several sights all the while, getting a history lesson from the trolly driver.  On to the Trolly tour!

Fun traveling with Wally and Sharon Huber.

Thunder Hole was just a splash today at low tide.

Jordan Pond

Beautiful view of Bar Harbor from Cadillac Mountain.

Cadillac Mountain

The beautiful rocky coast of Maine.

That evening, we took a sunset cruise on the Margaret Todd, New Englands only four-masted schooner.

It was a busy first day.

The next day, we all took a boat ride to Little
Cranberry Island.

On the ride, we saw some wildlife along the way.
This is an osprey's nest.

There are seals on the lower left rocks.

Arrival to Little Cranberry Island

Wednesday was rainy so we took the local bus to Asticou Inn
for lunch and their famous popovers.

At the end of each day, we all met back at the campground for the evening campfire to share our experiences of the day.

The next day, Vickie went kayaking with Len Sesko.

Jim went to the Antique Car Museum in Seal Harbor.

That evening we gathered for a potluck dinner with all our Montana Rover friends.

The next morning we went to view the sunrise on Cadillac Mountain. This is the first place the sun hits the United States.
There were a lot of people there!
