Quartzsite # 4

The big RV trade show is just getting started so it's time to get out of town while we can still get around.  This place gets like Sturges for the next two weeks.
After we explored all the vendors in the big tent (800 feet long) and the hundreds of booths selling just about anything you could want, we visited the local book store in Quartzsite.

It's quite a place with all manner of reading material.

The thing that makes this place really unique is Paul, the proprietor.

Yes, he is naked in public and has been since 1951.

Tuesday was the last day of the rally.  Already, some have left and there are holes in our circle.

Tomorrow, many more of us will be heading in all directions to continue our adventures.  We had our last happy hour and campfire as we bid each other safe travels.

We were treated to another stunning sunset for our last night in the desert.

As the sun set, the sky got more beautiful.

This is what our rally looked like from the air.

We had an incredible time and we will be doing this again.

It's now time to say goodbye to old friends and new.  Tomorrow, we begin the California leg of our journey.
